Mohave County enforces the 2003 International Building Codes in the building overlay areas, which cover where the population is expanding. This includes Mohave Valley, Desert Hills, Valle Vista, Golden Valley, etc. The county is dealing with heavy growth that has taken the population to approximately 200,000 residents. (more…)

It really isn’t news to many, but in case you missed it……It is a buyer’s market. There is an oversupply of single family residences listed in the Kingman Area. Fewer than half of those listed sold in July. Many of the homes for sale are vacant.. Valle Vista, the Golf Course Community North of Kingman on Route 66 is hosting a Mega Open House with 10 or more brokerages represented and 40 plus homes open on Saturday, August 25, 10 to 2 p.m. Lots of deals, reductions, gifts for home buyers. Title and mortgage companies will be there to facilitate paperwork.

At a public hearing on the proposed interchange near Rattlesnake Wash in East Kingman, a consultant laid out a timetable of projections for construction of arterials that would stretch north from the interchange to the south end of the kingman Airport Industrial Park and south to Hualapai Mountain Road.
